If you like listening to new and upcoming artists and want to expand your playlists, then grab a ticket to see Tom Walker at Cavern, on Sunday 18th March at 19:30.
Tom Walker, a singer/songwriter from Manchester, is an up and coming artist in Indie folk, pop and rock. His immalgamation of genres make his music interesting and iconic. However, what makes his songs so unique are his soulful lyrics that ventilate contemporary issues, such as usage of drugs and homelessness, that draws the listener in even further. Some of his more well-known songs, like “Leave the Light On” and “Blessings”, all purvey these stories passionately, so much so that they almost seem personal. As well as his stories, Walker’s music is both upbeat and calm, adding more suspense to his music and more texture to his sound.
Tom Walker has supported many artists such as George Ezra and Jake Bugg and has had much experience on stage. Now he is embarking on his own UK tour, in which he also performing new singles. His tour is starting right here in Exeter. And so, I highly recommend you to come down and support him in Cavern on Sunday and make sure his tour kicks off to a good start!
