“We really want to maintain a personal feeling, to give people the opportunity of wearing something completely unique and completely theirs”
Last week, Razz interviewed University of Exeter Alumni Bartosz Wozniak and Sally-Ann Dunn about their jewellery business, Baltic Beauty. They told us all about how the business started, the competitiveness of the jewellery market, the joys of working with natural Amber in their collections and their advice for current university students.
With a strong social media presence, and carefully made pieces inspired by nature, Wozniak and Dunn place emphasis on the importance of thoughtful customer service. Starting as a small Etsy shop, the business has expanded in recent years with customers across the globe. They note on their website that ‘the desire to propose a new age of timeless jewellery, underpins the very identity of our brand…It is our belief that a jewellery piece bears no expiry, but offers a lifetime of enjoyment, captivation and meaning’.
If you are someone who is considering starting their own business, or just a lover of jewellery, this won’t be one to miss. Make sure you keep an eye out for the interview later today!
