Warriors of the Plains: 200 years of Native North American honour and ritual

Studying American Literature in English? Or maybe just interested in Native American warfare and ritual? Then this exhibition is a definite must-see!

The museum describes the exhibition as one that “focuses on the material culture of Native North American Indians of the Plains between 1800 and the present, and the importance of the objects in a social and ceremonial context.”

From the 14 April to 4 November there is also an opportunity to see some paintings never seen before in Exeter (also free!)

From 18th-century portraits, Devon and Exeter landscapes to modern abstract works, there is something for everyone at this exhibition including some of the RAMM’s most famous paintings.

There are also some new acquisitions on available to see that have been shown before in Exeter. Be one of the first to catch a glimpse of some truly fine and classic art.
